In today’s Andersen Acres farm vlog, it’s a whirlwind of activity! Our Great Pyrenees, Tequila, is showing signs that her puppies are coming soon—her milk has come in, which means we're just a few days away from welcoming a litter of future livestock guardian dogs. We also worked on reinforcing the rabbit pen with extra wire in the eternal battle against our mischievous escape artist bucks. Will it work? We’ll see!
On the poultry side of things, we’ve moved a new batch of hatching eggs into lockdown. Duck eggs, chicken eggs, and quail eggs are now in the hatcher, and we’re eagerly counting down the days until we hear tiny peeps. Plus, we wrapped up the day with a delicious taco dinner—because farm work builds a serious appetite.
